Isabel Lau is a student currently attending the School of Visual Art and earned a GPA of 3.8 in her last year of studying. She is an illustrator who specializes in book cover design, children's book illustration, and editorial illustration. She designed the poster and logo for the Chao Niu (焯牛) Hot Pot restaurant. She is happy to report that she won the cover design for the 2019 Art Connection Benefit Festival brochure. She enjoys working on paper in a traditional watercolor medium and is open to combining new technology into her work. She finds inspiration in animals and the natural world, bird science is one of her primary areas of study. In her childhood, she owned a cockatoo. She was raised in China and currently resides with her family in New York City.
